Larry and Al are being featured for several reasons. For starters they have a new CD (second one). They are also a couple of genuine down to earth guys who are very involved with their community. We love these guys and we love their music.

We first met Larry and Al when they performed at our Annual Vietnam Veteran's gathering in 2009. Their music is from the Era of the Vietnam Veterans and they have also written their own music.

The Veterans and their families truly appreciated their music and them taking the time to play for all of us that day. Our event also lead to getting another gig for another all Veteran get together. So as you can see, these guys definitely support their Veterans.

For our first Official Vietnam Veteran's Day celebration for WI, Larry and Al also hooked us up with another artist who happened to write a song about his brother and close friend that served in Vietnam.

Larry and Al's music is very soothing. I shared with them one day before interviewing them that I was a little stressed out. However, as soon as they started playing their music, song from their new CD called Calling, I just sat back and took it all in. It calmed my spirit and I was no longer stressed. This is what their music does for me. Watching them perform live is very evident they are simply just having a good time.

Please check out them out at their
Website

    People Making a Difference

Too many times there are people who do great things (big or small), but never get recognized. Sometimes its because people don't give proper credit to where credit  is due and so other people's ideas, accomplishments, or other acts of Greatness never become known.

I admire those who do things without any thought except to do the right thing and to help someone in need. However, I feel it's important to acknowledge "Greatness" when we see it.
