Gerald Lindquist Gerald Linquist is the Advocate of the Year for 2010. Gerald graduated from Drug Court on June 23, 2009. Gerald continues to give back to his community because he says it helps him stay clean and sober. He has volunteered his time at a number of Recovery Events in the area and continues to volunteer his time on a regular basis with the St. Croix Valley Restorative Justice program in River Falls. Gerald shares his story hoping to change the lives of others who are stuck in the same pattern of addiction as he was prior to entering Drug Court. Gerald really stepped up to help promote the 2010 WWRA Recovery Celebration for Western Wisconsin and TSIO. He also volunteered his time to organize activities the day of the event and invested some of his own money for games that the children could also enjoy. He serves with sincerity and humility and is willing to do whatever is needed. TSIO has the utmost respect for Gerald not just for what he has accomplished, but most importantly who he truly is as a person. Comments are closed.

People Making a DifferenceToo many times there are people who do great things (big or small), but never get recognized. Sometimes its because people don't give proper credit to where credit is due and so other people's ideas, accomplishments, or other acts of Greatness never become known.
I admire those who do things without any thought except to do the right thing and to help someone in need. However, I feel it's important to acknowledge "Greatness" when we see it. Categories
